Samsung Omnia i900 on Vodafone UK too Just after we spotted the Samsung Omnia i900 on Orange (with rumours of a short exclusive on the network), have a look what's just popped up on the Vodafone website. Yup, it's the Samsung Omnia i900. Whilst this is tucked away in the help section, it's evidence that Voda should be picking up the handset too, plus you can bag one on MoDaCo via o2. Some of you may have noticed that we ran a story showing that Orange had the exclusive on this handset, so it's either a very short exclusive or duff info, because this looks to be spreading across other networks too. Samsung Omnia i900 - Available NOW on Orange!
The Samsung Omnia is starting to cause quite a stir across the internet. If the slick promo video on the official website isn't enough to interest you then check the specs. A 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash - yes, a 5 megapixel shooter. Then you've got the fast HSDPA 7.2Mbps connectivity with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, FM radio with RDS and a whizzy TouchWiz UI from Samsung. Oh, and did we not mention the 16Gb storage with microSDHC slot, TV output, geo-tagging, business card recognition and content-sharing with fellow Samsung DNLA kit? Eh ? Eh ? Oh, and there's a juicy 1440mAh battery to give you long usage times too. So it's all good, but when is it coming to your local stores? Well, we can reveal that the Samsung Omnia i900 is on sale now on Orange. The 16Gb version should be arriving in stores TODAY - Saturday August 16th. According to our sources you can get it free on the £40 p/m tariff. Sure, Orange have the BlackBerry Bold exclusive, but the Omnia is the handset we're loving at the minute!
